SAM-card, produced by Gemalto (Axalto) company, intended for active authentication of various "synchronous" cards (including "eurochips" - SLE 4436 и SLE 5536). It enables to identify the authenticity of these cards in order not to allow service of counterfeit card (emulator, third-party emission,"clone")

Asynchronous data communications protocol (T=0, 9600 bit/sec)
Cryptographic algorithms: Triple DES for access to card data and diversity of authenticated cards keys; original algorithms of synchronous cards' producers for their authenticity check.
